More Reflections

 More Reflections 25.1.13

I felt this scene had an abstract quality.  I was surrounded by stillness and quiet, not a human being in sight.  A very simple scene, which held me for some time.

Very reflective and tranquil. Maybe a bit cold too!

I’m so glad I found your blog! I love your photos! My entire life I’ve always wanted to visit the UK. Scotland in particular, The history is fascinating.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. The main purpose of the blog is just to capture ordinary things I see each day as a sort of record. I find the ordinary things in life from different parts of the world fascinating and I hoped some people around the world might find what is ordinary to me, quite interesting to them, if you know what I mean. I will be putting up some street scenes and cityscapes too but as I live in the countryside that’s where I am mostly when I have time to take photographs.

I’m pleased to hear about your interest in the UK. Hope you get to visit one day. There’s a lot to see in a small island. I’m happy to answer any questions about the UK if you have them. Good luck with your blog.

Thank YOU as well 🙂 I look forward to your posts! Do you, or have you, ever made escursions to Scotland?

Yes, I’ve visited Scotland many times. All over really and as far north as it’s possible to go in the UK, the Shetland Islands. Photography and birdwatching are two of my passions and Scotland is great for both. My favourite parts of Scotland are the Highlands and West Coast. It’s a great country and well worth a visit.
