Village church

Church tower

This the village church, (well at least the tower of it).  It is a very typical Victorian church from the outside and recognised as a very special place.  It is very beautiful inside with stunning stained glass windows, intricate carvings, ornate decorations,  murals and a wonderful ceiling.  The tower was added in 1861 on the site of an older chapel.  It sits on the edge of the village and is set against a rural landscape.
