Let me in!!

Let me in!

This is one of my dogs pleading with the other to be let in out of the cold and looking confused why it’s not happening.  The one indoors on the other hand seems unmoved, relaxed and quite comfortable.

They’re gorgeous! Are they Italian Greyhounds?

    • Victoria / Mar 5 2013 12:40 am

I just saw the tag. Thought they were a little too big, to be of the Italian variety. And then I remembered our comments about Greyhounds. The ‘blues’ are my favourite colour.

They’re definitely of the big variety. The blue one is getting a little grey around the face but still gorgeous.

By a ‘liner’ do you mean a link to my blog or something similar? If so, that’s fine. Thank you.

It parallels aspects of human society.

The dog inside looks to be going “yeah, this ain’t happening matey…” 🙂 well captured! Difficult to get animals in such well posed situations!

Right place, right time and just happened to have the camera in my hand. I was working in the garden and came up to see what the noise was about. Just made me smile. The black one is young, wild and runs everywhere. The grey one is older, wiser and much more chilled. I think that comes across in the photo.

Absolutely does. There’s that regal sense of privilege in the eyes of the grey one. Such character you captured… really impressive!

      • viewsfromasmallisland / Mar 5 2013 9:44 am

Thank you. I think greyhounds do have a regal look about them but the grey one has always had that something special. She is a loving, gentle creature but definitely has the look of canine royalty about her.

    Such a sweet photo.

A beautiful capture of two greys – just look at that posture and expression! I do think that greyhounds have a certain regal air that no other dogs possess, while mastering the art of being royally goofy too! But I am partial to greys, because of my Princess Lucy!
