Views of Worcestershire

Worcs. view

One of my favorite views of the Worcestershire countryside looking splendid in the sunshine and decorated with buttercups.

Out of interest where is this? I lived in Worcestershire for a good while and would know Bredon Hill, Malverns, Broadway etc. MM

Thanks. Was it Malvern you visited? By the way, love your blog. Makes me want to put my boots on and get out there.

Malvern, yes! Awesome place 🙂 stayed there few days and walked up on the surrounding hills.

Great Malvern as I recall. There was also a famous castle we visited there.
    Do you know Basing House?

I don’t know Basing House in Great Malvern but I’m not local to Malvern. I’m some way away near Stratford upon Avon.

Oh I love Stratford as well 🙂 Shakespeare all over the place, beautiful.

Thank you. I like it too. You are lucky to have travelled around so much. I’m very envious. I’m also pleased you seem to like the UK.

These kind of shots make me want to come back ‘home’ to england…

I don’t think I could move away for the same reason. I know I would get misty eyed at the sight of hedgerows, rolling hills in multiple shades of green, country lanes, pubs, post boxes and the ‘Match of the Day’ theme tune. I would be a blubbering wreck and on the next plane home. I know there are many wonderful and beautiful places around the world but I do love England (and the rest of the UK), with all its faults, to be away for too long.

Good for you! Not sure about match of the day theme tune though…

I know but Match of the Day just captures Britain on a Saturday night for me. So many people all over the country doing the same thing at the same time, watching the football. It’s just so British.
