Herbaceous geranium

Herbaceous Geranium r

I loved the colour and light on these herbaceous geraniums.  There are some wonderful colours in the garden at the moment, which I’ll share over the next few days.  And we’ve been promised sun and warm temperatures for a while.  Can you believe it?  Sun in July; in Britain? The world’s gone mad.

It’s gone slightly mad here too. Middle of winter and it is suddenly 16 degrees with a warm nor’west wind.

I’m not sure what winters are like down there but that does sound odd.

Odd, yes, but we will enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Indeed. If we have mild weather in the winter it always means very, very wet weather moving across from the Atlantic. So it’s a bit of a Hobson’s choice; dry, sunny and cold or very wet, grey and mild.
