Wild rose

Wild rose

More colour from the garden.  Today it’s the turn of a wild rose. That sums up the garden at the moment. It’s looking a little wild and slightly overgrown but I quite like it like that.  More natural looking and the wildlife prefer it that way too.  Well, that’s my excuse any way.

I love wild roses. We had one growing in our paddock on the farm I grew up on, and I thought it was the most incredible thing I had ever seen!

Beautiful – looks like you’re having a good summer so far. We’re watching Wimbledon late at night and it seems to be sunny at the moment…

Thanks. Yes, the summer is good so far. It’s well earned and needed after the worst winter for fifty years. We all need a bit of vitamin D.
