Roses

wild roses

I have the most spectacular display of roses at the moment. Not ones and twos but great big gorgeous bunches as you can see. Not sure if it’s the fine summer, the wet autumn or the cold spring killing pests or what. Absolutely fabulous though.

Do they light up the twilight; almost glow as the light fades? Love roses; especially ones without pests.

They really are spectacular; particularly the scent in the evening.

Oh yes, I was wondering if the scent would be stronger in the evening. I suppose that is common to all scented roses? ?

I guess so. We have had some beautiful summer evenings this year and to sit in the garden and enjoy the scent of these and the other flowers has been heavenly.
