Little rays of sunshine

Margarites

I love these because they are just like little rays of sunshine, just glorious and so full of summer. These are actually on the front drive so I don’t have to go very far to enjoy them.

Me, too! One can’t have too many daisies, and there are many varieties available on the market.

I once set up a large flower bed in as many daisy varieties as I could locate. The effect was a happy one, though some people didn’t understand why I’d plant an all-white flower bed, completely missing the wide variations in petals, height, and so on.

    Oh well! I got it!

Then I moved, and the new owners tore out the flower bed I so lovingly created. Had I anticipated that, I would have dug the bed up, and transported them all to my new place.

That would really have upset me, as it probably did you. It sounds like it was lovely and just the sort of thing I would have stopped to admire.

Funny how it’s often the small things that give us so much pleasure 🙂

It is. I think I have a bit of a mission in life to see the beauty in the ‘ordinary’.

Very true. I like the fact they are so simple yet beautiful, especially in numbers.

I llike how this photograph keeps your eyes moving. There is subtle darkness around three edges, and those vibrant red flowers that pull your eyes away from the freckles of daisies!
