Lake on a sunny afternoon

This is a place where I spend some time walking and taking photographs. It’s one of three lakes I am lucky to live next to and enjoy sharing the space with lots of wildlife. A shot taken on a very typical English summer day. Bliss.

    Now this is the kinda place I love to be. I guess I’ve always been a lover of nature I often take off with my map and compass (and a flask of tea – can’t do without a cuppa) for a day out in the countryside. People don’t realise what such beautiful places there are in the UK, this is no exception. 🙂
