Mushroom on a log


What an autumnal scene this is.  A fallen, moss covered log with a beautiful mushroom pointing straight to the sky. It shouts, damp, cool, shady place and that’s exactly where I found it.

      Thank you. I do like images of single flowers and plants. There’s a certain poignancy about them. The viewer is required to look at them in a different way. A bit like a single rose is often more striking than a whole bunch of them.
