Riding on the beach

riding on the beach

A horse, the sea and the sand. What more could anyone ask for?

Oh, my, I just left a note on your lighthouse picture above this one, and referred to a novel I wrote that was inspired by lighthouse painting. Then I moved on to this photo, and had to suck in an unexpected breath, because in that picture I referred to, the other main component was a lovely white horse. That horse and his owner, who used to ride at surf’s edge every day, became the main characters of the novel. That character would have agreed with your statement here wholeheartedly!

Thank you for this and all your other comments. I guess lighthouses touch something in many of us. They have had a pull on me since I was a child and always will.
