Autumn puddle

autumn puddle

This field entrance provides an interesting frame for the changing seasons. I pass it most days. There is always a deep rut from the tractor going in and out and it’s almost always full of water. I have captured it reflecting the ice and snow of winter, the spring canopy and the summer sun. And now, the fallen leaves provide a lovely sprinkling of colour.

A simple scene and beautifully executed composition. Well done.

We’ve had several days of intense autumn rain here and my lane way looks very similar!

We’re braced for the first major storm of the autumn tonight. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.
