All tied up

Tied up

I like to capture the everyday things as people go about their business. As in this tied up working boat, there is often an unexpected beauty and charm.

Every photo posted in your blog Small island is priceless especially for those living in big cities and thirsty for a natural & peaceful environment.
Thanks for sharing it & treating us to it on a regular basis.

Thank you very much. I really do appreciate it when people take the time to let me know they enjoy the photos. I like your terminology; ‘thirsty for natural beauty’ is just how I feel if I am away from it for any length of time.

You are right, the beauty is unexpected and positively lovely. Love the pale yellow boat against the blue doors. And clearly, the individual who painted those doors had an eye for creating beauty in the most ordinary of settings.

Thanks. I find so many ‘ordinary’ things have a beauty or charm when seen in isolation. In our busy lives we often miss so much.
