Going up in the world

going up in the world

I have always quite fancied the life of a tree surgeon; outdoors, fresh air, working with nature.  However, having seen this chap up a tall tree with little to hold on to, having removed most of the branches that might have provided some purchase, I  have had a change of heart.

      Yes, I assume he knew what he was doing but it looked a bit scary to me. The ropes didn’t appear to be attached to anything.

        I imagine that is quite an expensive element of the business. Not much use though if you fall from that height.

    It’s not in the same league as skyscraper window washing, but it’s up there. (Excuse the pun.)

      I agree. Working on skyscrapers must require some form of insanity. Although I’m not scared of heights, it’s hitting the ground that worries me.
