Spring is springing and we’ve enjoyed some warm sunshine and early colour. Absolutely glorious.

Great to see your new contribution about the spring! After a long and wet winter, enjoy the yellows and greens of the new season! Take care! 🙂

Thank you. Yes, spring is definitely here. A few early flowers; I heard my first spring migrant yesterday; and my tortoise is stirring. I’ve even had the lawnmower out. And tomorrow, the forecast is … rain all day. Still, that’s spring in the UK for you and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Winter has not loosened its grip here, so this spot of spring is mightily appreciated!

Sorry to hear that. We’ve hardly had a winter in most of the UK. We had a monsoon season instead. Still, the insect population will benefit, which means so will the birds and the small mammals.

        They will, indeed!
