Yes, they do look very grand, indeed!
Queen Victoria makes a grand statement wherever she is. Here is my recent photo of her in Christchurch http://silkannthreades.wordpress.com/2014/04/09/4567/ Unfortunately there is not much grandeur left in her surroundings.
She certainly doesn’t look amused does she. A tiny women apparently but not to be messed with.
I wonder if anyone knows how many statues there are of her around the world.
It must be a huge number. And think of how many towns, railway stations, roads, etc are named after her.
